How did the person later known as Sai Baba receive his name?

According to the Introduction in Chapter 0, Maharaj received the name 'Sai Baba' upon his arrival in Shirdi. When he entered the Khandoba temple wearing a kafni and cap, a resident goldsmith named Mhalasapati greeted him with the words 'Aavo Sai Baba,' which means 'Come, Sai Baba.' Maharaj held onto this name for the rest of his life. The text even notes that when his testimony was taken in a commission and he was asked his name, he replied, 'They call me Sai Baba.'
