How did the parents of the suffering boy approach Sai Baba for help in Shirdi?

📖 Chapter 34

The parents' approach to Sai Baba was one of complete humility, desperation, and faith. Chapter 34 describes that after deciding to try this 'last resort,' they traveled quickly to Shirdi, eager for his darshan. Upon their arrival, they immediately prostrated and bowed at his feet. With choked voices and folded hands, they made their petition, describing their son's unbearable pain and their own distress, admitting they saw no other way out. They explicitly stated they had come seeking refuge with total devotion after hearing of his greatness. This act of surrendering their problem at his feet, with pitiful faces and heartfelt pleading, moved Sai Baba, who is called the 'embodiment of compassion,' to grant them his assurance and the healing Udi.
