How did the merchant Ratanji seek help from Sai Baba for his problem of being without a son?

πŸ“– Chapter 14

The merchant Ratanji was deeply distressed because he had twelve daughters but no son, which caused him constant worry. As described in Chapter 14, his unhappiness was so great that food and drink did not taste sweet to him. Seeking a solution, he confided in Das Ganu, who advised him to go to Shirdi and surrender his problem to Sai Baba. Trusting this counsel, Ratanji traveled to Shirdi and went to the Masjid for Baba's darshan. Chapter 14 recounts how he prostrated at Sai's feet, offered a flower garland and fruits with great love, and then humbly sat before Him. He presented his plea, expressing his faith that Baba protects those in great calamity, thus placing his deepest desire and sorrow before the Master.
