The initial meeting between the Sanyasi and the Mamlatdar was orchestrated by a stroke of luck, pointed out by the Master. As described in Chapter 40, the Sanyasi was with the Master when the sound of horse hooves announced an arrival. The Mamlatdar himself dismounted and entered the room. Seeing this opportune moment, the Master immediately said to the Sanyasi, "The Mamlatdar has arrived right here! Now take your chance, say what you have to say; by luck, you have met him unexpectedly."
