How did the man who became known as Sai Baba first arrive in the village of Shirdi?

According to the introductory chapter, the man later called Sai Baba first came to Shirdi as part of a wedding procession. He had been staying for a few days at the house of a man named Chandbhai. When Chandbhai's wife's nephew was getting married to a girl from Shirdi, Maharaj, as he was then known, accompanied the wedding party. The procession stopped in a garden near the Khandoba temple, which was located just outside the village. It was there, upon entering the Khandoba temple, that he had his first significant encounter in Shirdi, as detailed in Chapter 0.
