How did the individual later known as Sai Baba first arrive in Shirdi, and who was the first person to greet him there?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 0

According to the introduction in Chapter 0, Maharaj (as he was then known) arrived in Shirdi as part of a wedding procession for the nephew of Chandbhai's wife. The procession stopped in a garden near the Khandoba temple. Upon entering the temple, he was met by a gentleman named Mhalasapati, a local goldsmith. It was Mhalasapati who first welcomed him with the words "Aavo Sai Baba" (Come, Sai Baba), thus bestowing upon him the name he would be known by for the rest of his life. Mhalasapati then introduced him to others in the village.
