How did the individual known as Maharaj receive the name 'Sai Baba'?

According to the account in Chapter 0, Maharaj received the name 'Sai Baba' upon his arrival in Shirdi. When he entered the Khandoba temple, a devotee of Khandoba named Mhalasapati saw him and greeted him with the words "Aavo Sai Baba," which means "Come, Sai Baba." The text explicitly states that Maharaj held onto this name until the end. It also notes that when his testimony was taken in a commission and he was asked his name, he simply replied, "They call me Sai Baba," affirming the name given to him by Mhalasapati.
