How did the experiences in Shirdi transform Laxmichand into a devoted follower?

📖 Chapter 28

Laxmichand's transformation into a devout follower was a gradual process based on personal experiences of Sai Baba's divine nature. According to Chapter 28, his devotion began to solidify after Baba miraculously fulfilled his unspoken desire for khaja, leading to joy in his heart and fixing his love on Baba. This initial faith was then profoundly deepened by the "evil eye" incident, where Baba verbally expressed Laxmichand's own secret thought about his cough. This event confirmed Baba's omniscience for him, leading Laxmichand to plead for Baba's grace and protection. From that point on, his devotion became a regular practice, and he would consistently send offerings like garlands, camphor, and incense to Baba in Shirdi through other travelers.
