How did the entire interaction unfold, from Damu Anna's initial letter to his eventual visit to Shirdi?

📖 Chapter 25

The process began with Damu Anna sending a letter to Shirdi, seeking Sai Baba's permission for a speculative business venture. In Chapter 25, we learn that Madhavrao presented this letter to Baba. Displaying his omniscience, Baba spoke about the letter's ambitious intent even before it was read. He then instructed Madhavrao to read it and dictated a reply advising Damu Anna against the venture, urging contentment. This reply left Damu Anna deeply disappointed. However, the letter also contained a hint to visit in person. Acting on this, Damu Anna traveled to Shirdi, hoping Baba might grant permission face-to-face. Once there, he massaged Baba's feet but ultimately lacked the courage to ask about the matter again.
