How did the darveshis react to their tiger's death, and what guidance did Sai Baba offer them?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 31

The darveshis had a mixed reaction, as detailed in Chapter 31. They were sad-faced because the tiger was their means of livelihood, their family's sustenance. However, they were also pleased because they understood that the diseased creature had attained liberation by dying at a saint's feet. They asked Baba for guidance on how to proceed with the burial. Maharaj reassured them not to worry, stating the tiger was very meritorious and had achieved supreme bliss. He instructed them to bury the tiger near the Shankara temple, by Nandi, to ensure it attained a good end.
