How did the book of Sai Baba's stories come to be written?

The book of Sai Baba's stories was created with His direct blessing and active participation. In Chapter 2, Sai Baba grants permission, stating, "A collection of stories, news, and experiences should indeed be made." He reveals that the author is merely a pretext and that He Himself would write His own story through the author. For this to happen, Baba instructed the author to dissolve his ego and surrender completely at His feet, promising full assistance not just for the book but in all aspects of the devotee's life.
