How did the annual Ram Navami fair in Shirdi come into existence?

The idea for an annual fair, or Urs, in honor of Maharaj was first conceived by Gopalrao Gund. As detailed in Chapter 0, he presented this concept to Tatya Patil, Dada Kote Patil, and Madhavrao Deshpande, who were supportive and took on the task of organizing it. Despite facing initial obstacles from the local Kulkarni, which led to a collector's order to halt the fair, they eventually secured permission. Following Maharaj's specific command, it was decided that the fair would be held on Ram Navami, a tradition that has been managed by Tatya Ganpati Patil Kote and continues to this day.
