How did staying in the Chavadi provide Amir Shakkar with Sai Baba's darshan?

Amir Shakkar's nine-month stay in the Chavadi, which he was forbidden to leave, was uniquely structured to provide him with frequent and effortless darshan of Sai Baba. According to Chapter 22, the Chavadi was on Baba's daily path. This meant Amir received an easy vision every morning as Baba went for and returned from His alms rounds. The text also mentions that every evening, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi. Most significantly, on every alternate day, Baba Himself would stay in the Chavadi, separated from Amir by only a plank door. This allowed them to talk with calm minds after the other devotees had left for their homes.
