After being repeatedly dismissed by Sai Baba, Sapatnekar became extremely distressed, finding no comfort in food, water, or sleep. Chapter 48 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra recounts that he made a firm resolution to approach Baba. He waited for an opportunity when Baba was alone on his cushion and, with a choked heart, he went and held Baba’s feet. This act of surrender bore fruit immediately. As Sapatnekar placed his head on Baba's feet, Baba responded by placing his hand on him, comforting the devotee who had been scorched by the threefold afflictions and was hungry for His darshan.
How did Sapatnekar finally get a blessing from Sai Baba after being constantly pushed away?
