How did Sai Baba use book readings to guide his devotees?

Sai Baba had a unique method of guiding devotees through sacred texts. As described in Chapter 18, He assigned Bapusaheb Jog to read books like the Jnaneshwari and Nath Bhagawat daily in the Wada. Baba would then send devotees who came to visit Him to go listen to the reading. The profound part of his grace was that a story He might have just told a devotee would then appear in the text being read. This provided confirmation and a full understanding of his teachings, making it seem as if the ancient texts were a direct translation of Baba's own words, all for the welfare of the devotees.
