How did Sai Baba use book readings for the benefit of his devotees?

📖 Chapter 18

According to Chapter 18, Sai Baba established a practice for the spiritual welfare of his followers by using sacred book readings. He assigned Bapusaheb Jog the task of reading texts like the Jnaneshwari and Nath Bhagawat daily in Sathe's Wada. Baba's method was profound; even while sitting in the Masjid, he would direct devotees who came to see him to go to the Wada and listen to the readings. The text explains that Baba did this out of a desire to bestow grace and provide instruction, sometimes even sending his own power to ensure the work was done. This daily Parayana, or disciplined reading, became a cornerstone of spiritual life for the devotees, whether they were near Baba or in a distant land.
