According to Chapter 7, Sai Baba demonstrated remarkable impartiality by celebrating festivals of both faiths with equal joy. For the Hindu festival of Ram Navami, he would arrange for a cradle to be tied in the assembly hall and have devotional kirtans performed. On that very same night, he would also grant permission for the Muslim Sandal procession to take place with ceremony.
