Sai Baba demonstrated his inner knowledge, or omniscience, to Laxmichand on multiple occasions. First, as Chapter 28 recounts, Baba knew of Laxmichand's unspoken craving for khaja and arranged for him to receive it. More pointedly, when Laxmichand was suffering from both hunger and back pain, Baba's words directly addressed his condition: "Hunger has come, that's good. There should be medicine for back pain." Later, when Baba developed a cough, Laxmichand privately worried it was due to an "evil eye." The very next morning, Baba spoke of the same thing, proving that even Laxmichand's most secret thoughts were completely transparent to him.
How did Sai Baba show he knew what Laxmichand was thinking and feeling without being told?
