How did Sai Baba's passing affect his devotees like Das Ganu, and what did they do in response?

📖 Chapter 42

The impact of Sai Baba's passing on his devotees is clearly illustrated through the experience of Das Ganu, as detailed in Chapter 42. On the very night Baba left his body, he appeared in a dream to Das Ganu in Pandharpur. In the dream, Baba cryptically said, "The Mosque has collapsed," indicating his departure from his physical form and Shirdi. He requested Das Ganu to cover him with flowers and come to Shirdi quickly. Upon receiving a letter confirming the news, Das Ganu went to Shirdi without delay. In response to Baba's passing, he and his disciples initiated a continuous and loud chant of Kirtan and Bhajan before the Samadhi, filling the entire marketplace with the sound of the Divine Name and turning Shirdi into a place of profound spiritual joy.
