Sai Baba's initial statements about the Buti Wada were fulfilled in a profoundly unexpected way. As recorded in Chapter 39, upon approving the plan, Baba said, "After the temple is complete, we too shall come to stay there," and "we will use it for ourselves." The devotees naturally interpreted this to mean he would physically live in the mansion. However, the prophecy was realized after his Mahasamadhi. His final instruction, "Place me in the mansion," led to his holy body being interred there. Thus, he did come to 'stay' and 'use' the mansion for himself, not as a living resident, but by making it his eternal resting place, the Samadhi Mandir.
How did Sai Baba's early prophecies about using the Buti Wada for himself come true in an unexpected manner?
