How did Sai Baba's devotees decorate him during the Chavadi procession?

📖 Chapter 37

During the Chavadi procession, devotees adorned Sai Baba with great love and devotion. As detailed in Chapter 37, they would draw a beautiful tilak mixed with saffron on His forehead and place various necklaces, including those of diamonds and pearls, around His neck. Flower garlands of Jai, Jui, and Tulsi were also offered, reaching down to His feet. Nanasaheb Nimonkar would hold a white umbrella over Baba's head. Despite being the personification of detachment, Baba allowed this 'play of the devotees' to proceed, and His appearance with all the decorations was described as most marvelous.
