How did Sai Baba respond when the worried parents from Malegaon came to him for help?

Chapter 34 describes that when the parents arrived in Shirdi, they immediately took Baba's darshan, prostrated at his feet, and narrated their son's suffering with choked voices. Pleading with pitiful faces, they begged Sai Baba to place his hand of protection on their son and remove the ailment. Sai, referred to as the embodiment of compassion, reassured the distraught parents. He told them to be worry-free and famously declared that those who seek shelter in his Masjid shall never face downfall. He then gave them Udi and instructed them to smear it on the wound.
