How did Sai Baba respond when Jog told him about Dev's letter complaining that Baba didn't attend the feast?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 40

When Jog informed Sai Baba about Dev's complaint, Baba was not angry but rather surprised at Dev's inability to recognize him. According to Chapter 40, Baba revealed that he knew the contents of the letter even before it was opened. He then explained exactly how he had fulfilled his promise, stating, "I said I would come with two others, and I went with two others." He reminded Dev of his appearance in a Sanyasi's guise, a visit that had happened even before the meal. Baba firmly stated his commitment to his word, declaring, "for the sake of My word, I would die; but the words from My mouth shall never be otherwise." This entire account was then relayed to Dev in a letter from Jog.
