How did Sai Baba respond when Jog informed him that Dev felt deceived?

When Jog communicated Dev's feeling of being deceived, Sai Baba reacted with surprise that his devotee had not recognized him. As described in Chapter 40, Baba immediately addressed the accusation. He told Jog to ask Dev, "You did not recognize Me! Why then did you call Me?" Baba then clarified that while he did not physically move from his place in a worldly sense, he had indeed come to the Udyapan and eaten. He reiterated his exact fulfillment of the promise, stating, "I said I would come with two others, and I went with two others." He firmly asserted his unwavering commitment to his word, declaring that the words from his mouth shall never be otherwise.
