How did Sai Baba respond when He learned that Bala Ganpat Dev felt deceived about Him not attending the Udyapan ceremony?

When Jog informed Sai Baba of Dev's feelings of deception, Baba explained that He had, in fact, attended the ceremony in disguise. According to Chapter 40, Baba feigned surprise and detailed His visit, saying, "He says I deceived him with My words of assurance; tell him, 'You did not recognize Me! Why then did you call Me?'" He then recounted how He appeared as a Sanyasi, first alone and then with two companions for the meal, precisely as He had hinted. Baba strongly affirmed His commitment to His promises, stating, "Look, for the sake of My word, I would die; but the words from My mouth shall never be otherwise." This message was then relayed back to Dev by Jog.
