Chapter 19 reveals that if a devotee tried to secretly practice Hatha Yoga, Baba would know it and send a pointed message through a stranger, saying, 'Why can't you sit still after eating your bread? Stay with patience.' He also issued firm warnings about the importance of heeding his words. He would say, 'Our caste is very harsh; we will try and tell you once or twice.' He underscored the gravity of this by stating that if someone, even his own son, did not listen after being told twice, he would 'cut him in two and throw him away!'
