How did Sai Baba prove to Das Ganu that Shirdi was a holy pilgrimage site?

📖 Chapter 4

The texts from Chapter 4 describe a profound incident involving Das Ganu. Feeling a desire to bathe in the holy Prayag (the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers) on a special day, Das Ganu sought Sai Baba's permission to travel. Baba advised him against it, saying, "No need to go so far. This itself is our Prayag; keep firm faith in your mind." To prove his point, a miracle occurred. When Das Ganu bowed at Baba’s feet, holy water representing the Ganga and Yamuna began to drip from Baba's two big toes. Witnessing this incredible leela, Das Ganu was overcome with emotion and realized the truth in Baba's words: the feet of a Saint are the ultimate holy site, negating the need for other pilgrimages.
