How did Sai Baba perceive his own identity, especially when others considered him an Avatar?

📖 Chapter 23

While many devotees considered Sai Baba to be an Incarnation (Avatar) because He displayed all the necessary signs, Chapter 23 clarifies His own humble perspective. He would often say, "I am a humble servant in the court of Allah." The chapter notes that He never proclaimed "Anal Haq" (I am God), but instead constantly chanted phrases like "I am a poor servant," "He is the Truth (Ya-De-Haq)," and "Allah Malik" (God is the Master). He saw the Almighty in all beings, never looked down on anyone, and consistently presented Himself as a servant of God rather than God Himself.
