How did Sai Baba perceive himself, especially in relation to being called an 'Avatar'?

According to Chapter 23 of the Sai Satcharitra, while many devotees considered Sai Baba to be an Incarnation (Avatar) because he possessed all the necessary signs, he himself maintained a different perspective. He would humbly state, "I am a humble servant in the court of Allah." He never claimed divinity by saying "Anal Haq" (I am God). Instead, his frequent chants were "I am a poor servant," "He is the Truth (Ya-De-Haq)," and "Allah Malik" (God is the Master), emphasizing his role as a servant of God while still displaying perfect human conduct.
