How did Sai Baba perceive himself, and how did this contrast with how his devotees saw him?

According to Chapter 23 of the Sai Satcharitra, while devotees considered Sai Baba to be an Incarnation (Avatar) because He possessed all the necessary signs and characteristics, Baba himself maintained a position of profound humility. He would often say, "I am a humble servant in the court of Allah." Instead of claiming divinity with phrases like "Anal Haq" (I am God), His constant chants were "I am a poor servant," "He is the Truth (Ya-De-Haq)," and "Allah Malik" (God is the Master). This chapter highlights how He saw the Almighty in all things and remained in harmony, never disregarding anyone or considering them inferior.
