How did Sai Baba manage to celebrate both Hindu and Muslim festivals together in Shirdi?

According to Chapter 7 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, Sai Baba demonstrated a unique ability to harmoniously blend Hindu and Muslim traditions. For the Hindu festival of Ram Navami, he would have a cradle tied in the assembly hall and arrange for devotional stories and songs (Katha and Kirtan). On that very same night, he would also give permission for the Muslim Sandal procession to take place with ceremony. The text notes that he conducted both festivals with equal joy. Similarly, for Gokul Ashtami, he would have Gopal-Kala prepared, and when Eid arrived, he ensured there was no obstacle to Muslim prayers (Namaj). This impartial approach showed his transcendence of religious divides.
