How did Sai Baba manage to attend Dev's Udyapan ceremony despite not physically leaving Shirdi?

Sai Baba fulfilled his promise to Dev by appearing in a different form. As detailed in Chapter 40, Baba took the guise of a Sanyasi. He first visited Dev alone before the meal to arrange things, then returned at noon with two companions, just as he had promised. Baba later explained this to Jog, stating, "I said I would come with two others, and I went with two others... do you not remember the Sanyasi's guise?" This demonstrated his ability to be present for his devotees beyond the constraints of his physical body, even though Dev failed to recognize him at the time.
