This story demonstrates Sai Baba's omniscience and compassion for His devotees. As described in Chapter 28 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, a devotee named Laxmichand was on a pilgrimage and had enjoyed some khaja (a sweet) that was served as prasad. The next day, he craved it again but it was unavailable. On the third day, when devotees asked Baba what food offering to bring, Baba specifically requested "a plate full of khaja." Later, after the arati, the khaja was distributed, and Laxmichand's desire was fulfilled, filling his heart with joy and solidifying his devotion to Baba.
How did Sai Baba make sure Laxmichand got to eat the khaja he was craving?
