How did Sai Baba know that Laxmichand wanted to eat khaja?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 28

The story of Laxmichand illustrates Baba's omniscience. As described in Chapter 28, Laxmichand enjoyed some khaja (a sweet) that was distributed as prasad on his first day in Shirdi. He craved it again the next day but none was available. On the third day, during worship at the masjid, a devotee asked Baba what naivedya (food offering) to bring. Baba specifically requested a plate full of khaja. Later, after the arati, Baba announced he felt like having khaja prasad and had it distributed, thus fulfilling the specific, unstated desire that remained in Laxmichand's mind, much to the wonder of all devotees.
