How did Sai Baba intervene in the life of Bhagwantrao Kshirsagar to restore his family's traditions?

📖 Chapter 4

Sai Baba intervened directly to guide Bhagwantrao Kshirsagar back to his religious duties. Bhagwantrao's father had been a friend of Baba and a devout worshipper of Vitthal. However, after his father's death, Bhagwantrao neglected the family traditions, ceasing the worship and food offerings (Naivedya) to their Vitthal idol and skipping the annual Shraddha. As recounted in Chapter 4, Baba "pulled" Bhagwantrao to Shirdi and confronted him about this neglect. Baba stated, "He never offers food (Naivedya); he keeps me hungry too. He keeps Vitthal hungry too, that’s why I brought him to Shirdi." By directly addressing this lapse, Baba intended to remind him and "put him back to worship," demonstrating his concern for devotional practices.
