How did Sai Baba interact with people who were skeptical of his powers?

📖 Chapter 35

Sai Baba had a unique way of dealing with skepticism, often using direct experience to transform doubt into faith. The story of Boss Dharamsee in Chapter 35 provides a classic example. Dharamsee came to Shirdi with a 'clinical scrutiny.' He mentally challenged Baba, thinking, 'If he is a saint, how does he not know That I do not like these grapes?' Instead of a verbal lesson, Baba responded by giving him more of the very grapes he disliked. Then, miraculously, when Dharamsee finally ate them upon Baba's command, they were seedless. This personal, undeniable miracle shattered Dharamsee's ego and doubt, leading to the birth of love for Sai in his heart, as described in Chapter 35. Baba's method was not to argue, but to provide an experience that spoke for itself.
