How did Sai Baba interact with his devotees in their dreams, based on the descriptions in Chapter 28?

📖 Chapter 28

Chapter 28 provides several examples of how Sai Baba would interact with his devotees through their dreams, using these experiences to guide and protect them. The chapter states that he would give them darshan (a sacred vision) in their sleep. His interactions were varied and tailored to the devotee's needs. For some, he would make requests, such as asking for khichdi. For others, he would provide correction, like breaking their addictions to liquor or even taking a stick and beating their backs "in the manner of a Guru." As noted in Chapter 28, the purpose of these dream interventions was to remove the many troubles of his devotees and, in doing so, create a deep and lasting love for his feet.
