How did Sai Baba interact with devotees regarding the practice of Dakshina?

According to Chapter 14, Sai Baba had a distinct and consistent method regarding Dakshina, or offerings. He would ask for Dakshina from every person who came for his darshan, regardless of their faith, be they Hindu, Muslim, or Parsi. The amounts requested varied wildly; He might ask for one or two rupees, or He might demand hundreds, thousands, or even crores. If a devotee claimed their funds were depleted, Baba would instruct them to take a loan. Interestingly, He would also tell them not to worry, promising to give them "bags of rupees" in return.
