Sai Baba was intimately involved in the entire process of feeding the hungry. Chapter 38 describes how He would personally shop for ingredients, paying in cash, and would grind wheat, pulses, and spices with his own hands. He managed the fire and cooked food in large pots called Handis. After cooking, the food would be consecrated. Regarding meat, the scripture clarifies that while He did prepare it, He was very selective in its distribution. He only served meat-mixed food as Prasad to those who were already accustomed to eating it. For devotees who did not eat meat, He would not let them even touch it, ensuring he did not create a new desire in them.
How did Sai Baba handle the preparation and distribution of food, particularly in relation to meat?
