How did Sai Baba handle a devotee's skepticism and personal dislikes?

📖 Chapter 35

The story of Boss Dharamsee in Chapter 35 provides a clear example. Dharamsee visited Shirdi with a skeptical, "clinical scrutiny" and had a strong dislike for grapes with seeds. When Baba offered him these very grapes, Dharamsee internally questioned Baba's sainthood. In response, Baba, fully aware of his inner thoughts, first gave him more of the disliked grapes and then commanded him to eat them. When Dharamsee obeyed, he was astonished to find they had become seedless. As Chapter 35 recounts, this direct, personal miracle caused his ego to drop away and be replaced with love for Sai, demonstrating how Baba often addressed doubt not with words but with transformative experiences.
