How did Sai Baba guide his devotees from devotion to his physical form towards understanding his eternal, formless nature?

As detailed in Chapter 11, Sai Baba employed countless means to help his devotees realize the Nirguna, or formless, aspect of reality. According to their individual eligibility, he would use various methods to cultivate a deeper longing for his eternal presence beyond the physical body. These methods included sending a devotee to another country, confining another to solitude in Shirdi, locking someone in the Wada, or assigning them the task of reading scriptures. By practicing this for years, the devotee's mind would become constantly occupied with Baba’s company, whether sitting, sleeping, or eating, thus transitioning their focus from the perishable body to the eternal.
