The story of Laxmichand and the khaja is a wonderful example of Sai Baba's omniscience and how He fulfilled the unexpressed wishes of His devotees. As described in Chapter 28, Laxmichand was on a pilgrimage and had tasted khaja as prasad, which he greatly enjoyed. A desire for more lingered in his mind. On the third day, when devotees went to the masjid, Baba specifically ordered a plate full of khaja to be brought as a food offering (naivedya). Later, Baba announced to everyone that He felt like having khaja prasad and that all should be served as much as they wanted. This directly fulfilled the unspoken craving that Laxmichand had been harboring, leaving him overjoyed and strengthening his faith immensely.
How did Sai Baba fulfill Laxmichand's specific craving for khaja sweets?
