How did Sai Baba first arrive in Shirdi and who were the initial people he met?

Sai Baba arrived in Shirdi accompanying a wedding procession for the nephew of Chandbhai's wife. According to the Introduction in Chapter 0, this procession stopped in a garden near the Khandoba temple outside the village. Upon entering the temple, he met a goldsmith named Mhalasapati, who greeted him with the words "Aavo Sai Baba," thus giving him his name. Mhalasapati then introduced Baba to his companions, Kashiram Shimpi and Appa Jagle, and all three became his devoted followers.
