How did Sai Baba first arrive in Shirdi, and who was the first person to greet him there?

📖 Chapter 0

Sai Baba's journey to Shirdi is detailed in Chapter 0. He arrived as part of a wedding procession for Chandbhai's wife's nephew. The procession stopped in a garden near the Khandoba temple outside the village. Upon entering the temple, he met a gentleman named Mhalasapati. As the text describes, Mhalasapati, a goldsmith and devotee of Khandoba, saw Maharaj wearing a kafni and cap and greeted him with the words "Aavo Sai Baba," which means "Come, Sai Baba." This was the origin of the name he would be known by for the rest of his life.
