How did Sai Baba explain the concept of oneness after a woman in Shirdi fed some animals?

📖 Chapter 9

After a woman gave bread to a hungry dog and pig, Sai Baba used the event to provide a powerful lesson on oneness. In the account from Chapter 9, he told the woman that her act of kindness had fully satisfied his own hunger, stating, "Consuming that bread of love, I became completely satisfied. I am still getting belches." When she was puzzled, he clarified his divine unity with all life. He explicitly said he has "oneness" with the dog and the pig she saw. He expanded on this by stating that he roams in the form of all creatures, from cows and cats to ants and flies. He concluded the lesson by saying, "He who sees me in all beings, know him to be the one I love," establishing that recognizing this unity is the highest form of devotion.
