How did Sai Baba explain his deep connection to Mrs. Khaparde and justify his eagerness to eat her food?

📖 Chapter 27

When questioned about his apparent partiality towards Mrs. Khaparde's food, Sai Baba provided a mystical explanation rooted in past lives. As recounted in Chapter 27, Baba revealed their long history together. He told the onlookers that in a previous birth, she was a grocer's plump, milky cow. He then traced her subsequent births: to a gardener, then to a Kshatriya, followed by becoming a grocer's wife, and finally being born into a Brahmin family. Baba stated that he had seen her after a very long time and his eagerness to eat was driven by a desire to accept her 'morsels of love' for his own happiness and satisfaction, revealing a deep spiritual bond.
