How did Sai Baba distribute Udi, and what did this act signify for his followers?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 33

Sai Baba distributed Udi as a form of benediction or Prasad to all devotees, whether small or great, who came for his Darshan. According to Chapter 33, the Udi was ash taken from the sacred Dhuni, which burned constantly day and night in the Masjid. As devotees prepared to leave, Baba would give them handfuls of this ash. He would often apply it with his own thumb to their foreheads and place his entire hand on their heads, explicitly wishing for their welfare. This daily, unlimited, and unobstructed distribution signified his constant, impartial blessing and protection over his followers.
