How did Sai Baba describe the relationship between faith and patience?

Sai Baba taught that faith and patience are deeply interconnected and indispensable for spiritual progress. In Chapter 19, he reveals that the 'two paise' his Guru requested were, in fact, Faith (Nishtha) and Patience (Saburi). He beautifully illustrates their bond by stating, 'Faith and Patience are like two sisters, dear as life to each other.' This implies they are inseparable companions on the spiritual path. The text further reinforces this by noting that even a very powerful Guru expects two things from a disciple: 'strong faith at the Guru’s feet and the strength of courage which is patience.' One cannot be truly effective without the other.
