How did Sai Baba describe the love and devotion he felt for his Guru?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 19

Sai Baba described his relationship with his Guru as one of profound love and constant contemplation. In Chapter 19, he states that his Guru was a 'veritable idol of devotion and love' who had true affection for him. The connection was so deep that Baba's eyes would go into meditation just by seeing his Guru's face, and he felt neither hunger nor thirst in his presence. He explains, 'I would gaze at my Guru's face with love day and night; without the Guru, my mind was restless.' This highlights a state of complete absorption where the Guru was his only goal and constant focus, a bond he called a 'festival of joy'.
