How did Sai Baba describe his own Guru and the time he spent serving him?

📖 Chapter 19

In Chapter 19, Sai Baba describes his Guru with profound reverence, calling him "a great Auliya (saint) and an ocean of mercy." Baba recounts serving him for twelve years, during which he was raised from a child to an adult with no shortage of food or clothing. He emphasizes the immense love and affection his Guru had for him, stating, "He was a veritable idol of devotion and love, who had true affection for his disciple." Baba cherished this relationship so deeply that he felt neither hunger nor thirst while gazing at his Guru's face, and his mind was restless without him. This period was a "festival of joy" centered on constant contemplation of his beloved teacher.
